Otherwise, you can pay instore if you are buying from one of our stockists.

 

HOW CAN I ORDER MY BATELA JACKET?

You are welcome to order from our online store, following the steps found on the website.

Alternatively, you can email us at info@batela.co.za to place an order, citing the Batela jacket code, colour & size, and we will send you an invoice. Please include your physical address (not a P.O. Box address) for delivery, and your contact number. Your order will only be dispatched once payment has been received.

Alternatively, you can buy directly from one of our stockists.

WHAT IS THE DELIVERY PROCESS AND COST?

Batela South Africa offers free delivery nationwide, either door-to-door or door-to-counter, depending on where you are located. Once payment has been received, your order will be delivered within 2 – 3 working days, depending on where you live. Please note that the COVID-19 pandemic occasionally affects delivery times. We apologise for the inconvenience that this may cause you, but wish to assure you that we and our courier company will do our best to get your jacket delivered swiftly.

CAN I AMEND MY ORDER?

Our Batela team is really efficient in getting orders dispatched. You are welcome to send through any changes to your order, but they will only be actioned if your order has not already been dispatched. Changes to orders can be emailed to info@batela.co.za.

If your order has already been dispatched at the time of receipt of your requested change, you will need to follow our return procedure.  

CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?  

Once placed, your order cannot be cancelled. Instead, you will need to follow the return procedure

Yes, if you are not satisfied with your Batela jacket, you have five (5) days from date of receipt of the garment to return it to obtain a full purchase price refund. see below for our Returns/Exchange Policy.

HOW DO I ENSURE I ORDER THE RIGHT SIZE?

Our sizing guide will help you select the right Batela jacket. Sizing guide is available at the bottom of the page.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY BATELA JACKET?

The outer layer of your Batela jacket is made of 100% polyurethane. This material is waterproof. The lining of your Batela jacket is either 100% cotton, fleece-lined or lined in a mesh material, depending on your choice of jacket.

To clean your Batela jacket, we recommend that you hand wash it with care, and then hang it up to air dry. Do not put your Batela jacket in a washing machine or tumble dryer.

If your Batela jacket gets creased, simply hang it up to air. If the creases remain, or you are pushed for time, we recommend using a steam iron to remove any creases.

PRODUCT SOLD-OUT – WILL YOU GET MORE STOCK?

Absolutely. We import our Batela jackets from Spain, and frequently place new orders. If we do not have the Batela jacket you are looking for, will gladly include it in our next order. Our Batela jackets are shipped via ocean freight, so the lead time is approximately four to six weeks.

I HAVE RECEIVED AN INCORRECT ITEM, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

If your order is not correct, please let us know about it so that we can sort it out for you right away.

Please email us at info@batela.co.za with your invoice number, & details of the incorrect Batela jacket received or missing Batela jacket.

RETURNS/WARRANTY POLICY – DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

We have yet to see a faulty jacket. However, if you do receive a faulty jacket, it comes with a 6-month warranty. This covers manufacturing faults but excludes normal wear and tear or incorrect use of the jacket. Incorrect use includes failing to follow the HOW DO I CARE FOR MY BATELA JACKET? When returning a defective product, please email a photograph of the defective item as well as your proof of purchase to info@batela.co.za.

You will be advised whether the product can be repaired or whether it will need to be replaced. You also have the option of a refund/or credit. Batela South Africa will be liable for the delivery charges if the product is found to be defective. The decision between repairing or replacing will be that of Batela South Africa depending on availability and other relevant circumstances.

RETURNS/EXCHANGE POLICY – NON-DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

NORMAL RETURNS:

If, for some reason, you wish to return your Batela jacket you will need to notify us within 5 days of receipt of your order. You may choose between a purchase price refund, product exchange or credit. You will need to return the Batela jacket to our offices in Johannesburg via courier/or by hand, at your own cost.

Please retain the jacket’s original packaging & swing tag, and do not wear the product. Please also ensure the items are returned in the exact condition they were received in in order to secure your refund, product exchange or credit.

If the incorrect jacket is delivered to you in error (i.e. it is not the product you purchased) please do not remove the jacket from its original packaging or try the product on at all. Please email info@batela.co.za to notify us of the error so that we can arrange collection of the jacket and deliver the correct one to you as soon as possible.

If your Batela jacket was purchased from one of our stockists and you would like to arrange an exchange, please return to the store and they will gladly assist.

WRONG SIZE:

Please email info@batela.co.za and we will gladly arrange the exchange. However, please note that you will be responsible for the collection fee as well as the redelivery fee of your chosen jacket.

DELIVERY POLICY

Batela South Africa does not have a physical retail store. We accept orders via info@batela.co.za and deliver nationwide. We do not allow for order collections from our office or stockists.
